What is it?

noworries internet is a free wireless network. 3,310 users transferred 298 gigabytes since the network was created. It is powered by Meraki wireless devices.

How to connect?

Your computer or device needs to have a wireless card or chip fitted in order to connect to the noworries wireless network. If you can connect to wireless networks from your computer, simply browse or scan for the noworries network. It is unsecured. No passwords or keys required. Refer to the map below that shows current locations of all noworries wireless nodes in Redfern.

How to participate?

There are 3 ways you can be a part of the noworries network:

  • Share your unused bandwidth, share the vision: Buy a meraki device and act as a network gateway, share your unused bandwidth and widen the wireless network into the streets of Redfern.
  • Speed up your connection, strengthen the network : Strengthen and speed up your connection to the noworries network by placing a meraki in your window.
  • Donate. If you use noworries, consider making a donation from time to time. All monies go into strengthening and widening the network.

Bulk orders are placed every Friday. We pay for postage, you pay for the device. A standard meraki device costs $50 US. Order now
